Being 1/2 Cuban, 1/2 Colombian, and 100% Jersey— Andrew finds himself not at the center of the universe but in the center of hundreds of intersecting venn diagrams. With that, Andrew is a writer of all sorts of entertainment for consumption: plays, pilots, short films, comedy sketches, and more. 

With a shameless love of trashy pop culture, a DIY - guerilla type of attitude, and a twinge of ridiculousness, Andrew actively strives to make theatre more cinematic and film more theatrical.

Andrew loves to tell and share satirical and witty stories. In turn, he is most attracted to stories and processes that proactively uplift disenfranchised and marginalized communities.

As a writer and collaborator, Andrew consistently views the audience and their experience as the fuel for any piece; they should be placed at the forefront, actively amused and critically engaged. If the audience is the fuel, collaboration is the engine - the driving force - for any means of production. With that fuel metaphor being said, it should be noted that being from Jersey, Andrew does not know how to pump his own gas. But he does have great hair and a greater smile. 

Andrew currently serves as the co-founder and co-artistic director of THEATRE BY DEVELOPMENT.
